The firm has been working on the technology for four years and has now shown off the first working prototype. The unit is fairly large and can power a laptop for about 10 hours. The company also showed off a "flat-bed", pre-commercial version, which is placed under the notebook. Toshiba is aiming at reducing the size of the components in the future, so that the entire fuel cell fits inside the notebook just as normal batteries do.

I could use that, my acer is too powerfull so my battery life is only 1 hour
