As for more reasoning why TPU is bad mouthed this has come up in conversation with me to post in this thread specifically.

really...nowhere, and hardware OEMs say the same, with sales figures. The industry itself has cut back, in a big way. That's what happens during a recession.

I think that the regular posters are still around and just lurk more. You get tired of answering the same old questions over and over again.

And I have noticed the recession too. Less people wanting to buy (not just computers), and it seems as though low-balling is a new past time.
