Here are a couple you can put up if you wish...

I let a few folks here try these out earlier this year...

(Solaris17, & the other "Matrix-Oriented" mods + around 10 or so other folks that were not mods (sorry I forgot exactly who by now) & via their return "PM" & email replies after testing them out, gave them BOTH favorable/good reviews (& better in some cases)... E.G.-> Solaris17 stated to me that when he does his next software CD, mine will be on it (vs. another registry cleaner he was previously into & using) on these 2 files)

yes indeed i said that and my next cd is coming along realy well as soon as i have a more stable internet connection and i finalize it it will be excellent i think i hope you guys enjoy it and this is kind an update for those of you who may have thought i had givin up on it.

Ah, makes sense - I will be there shortly as well, feeling a 'bit under the weather' today!

Reason being, is that since yesterday was a Holiday? A neighbor of mine whom I play chess regularly with went on a "Wine Tasting" tour yesterday near my area, ala the film "SIDEWAYS", lol... well, not quite THAT nutty, but, close!

(We hit the "Cayuga Wine Trail" in the Geneva N.Y. area, near HOBART college - recommend it to ANYONE, for 'culture' & some DAMN fine wine too - BlueBerry Wine ROX! Keeps the essence of blueberry even on "dry" (0% residual sugar) wines... unlike grapes, even thru the oak taste the kegs give it! Some of the world's FINEST wines actually do come out of N.Y. State, believe-it-or-not...)

Maybe it ought to be... it IS quite useful! If you are like myself? I have over 3,200 pages bookmarked in Opera!

What the program does/can do, is:

1.) Check your bookmarks (IE, Opera, FireFox/Mozilla, etc.) for validity, & check for literally, "dead" links...

(So you can either try to update them, or just burn them from your favs/bookmarks files (Opera & FireFox/Mozilla) or folders (IE))

2.) It also does "grep-type" search thru your bookmarks too!

3.) AND, Much more like bookmarks/favs backup & more too...



* I figure since this is a technical oriented site? You guys have fairly extensive favs/bookmarks saved as well for points of reference... & might want to 'inventory them for validity or update' using this tool!

Well, the others I put up did pretty ok so far on D/L counts!

(E.G. -> in a week the 2 progs I put up earlier did 350 D/L's or so when coupled w/ the first time I let folks here try them, around 20-25 tested them)

Also, some decent reviews by folks (via email from the first time I put them out to the mods & folks like Solaris17, noted earlier in this thread no less)...

I have a copy of the last free X-Setup Pro in my possesion. As well as Aida32 and everest free edition. And the Windows 95 upgrade to overcome the 400Mhz barrier. And many, many, many other things in my 300Gb of collected crap from years of backing up and keeping everything.


Even the games expantion pack for 3.1 that included Astroids, Missle Command, and Defender.
