I've never been into Grand Theft Auto. Seen the videos and reviews and playing a gangster never did it for me. Then I played GTA5 on my mate's XB1 the other day - and I got it!
It was tremendous fun being naughty. Ya know, running people over, shooting pedestrians and coppers for no reason, casing the joint, going to strip clubs (getting thrown out of strip clubs) and generally being a reprobate.
The strongly satirical ads and programs on the in-game TV in particular are hilarious. There was a game show on there called Fame or Shame where they were looking for the most racist man in America, for example. Say whut?! They had an ad there for kitchen cleaner that would kill literally anything. It kept going like this and some of it had me in stitches! The whole game is one big satire.
So yeah, I'll be getting GTA5 when it comes out on PC.
Have you ever ended up liking a game you never thought you'd like?
