No viruses or malware found! I think its a Chrome bug. Because at that very instant I opened TPU in IE, the original home page came.

Really bizzare. You'd think it'd be some sort of DNS problem, but why would the browser matter?

Did you clear the cache as well as suggested as this has happened to me before, the link works fine for me.

this is clearly not a page generated by tpu.

maybe your dns failed for a second and your resolver sent you to this page instead of an error page (money from ads)

what happens if you go to a non existant domain?

Yeah did that before and after the malware and virus scan. I hope it does not happen again. When this prob occurred, I kept on reloading the pages and got the same weird page as on the screenshot. Then I searched for "TechpowerUp" in Google. Clicked the first link and it opened. Then I typed www.techpowerup.com in the address bar and the weird page loaded again. Tried IE. No problem. Restarted Chrome. Problem gone.
