You just need to PM him and he will likely give permission to edit. ;)

This. It's not broken as much as it is a safety net. If you come up with a better way in which to prevent the problem from happening perhaps he will implement that instead of simply locking them.

What's happening in the background their Wiz that we've got these intermittent problems?

For some unknown reason all our tpuwww docker containers were hung, even though the service monitoring script detected some failure and tried to shut down the container. No answer why exactly this happened

Ok, I got the gist of that. :D

Are docker containers some kind of virtualization?

Yup i did and came up with this :)
Dockworkers strike in the Port of Rotterdam seems to be imminent after the members of the union FNV Havens voted against the offers made by their employers at a meeting held on Friday, 18 December.

On Friday, 11 December the employers and port authority left the negotiating table where discussions were being held with the unions on the financial contribution the port of Rotterdam is expected to pay to compensate the social consequences of automation and overcapacity in the container sector.

Explains it all Bloody unions ( maybe i used the wrong variables in my google query
:)..)

Yup. Google it
Ehhh, it can and in many cases does run virtualized but, generally speaking containerization doesn't require virtualization and certainly not between every container.

As the Docker website states:
Docker Website said:
Containers include the application and all of its dependencies --but share the kernel with other containers, running as isolated processes in user space on the host operating system. Docker containers are not tied to any specific infrastructure: they run on any computer, on any infrastructure, and in any cloud.

I didn't forget the flux capacitor ,but anybody who knows anything about over complicated explanations knows that it's never the flux capacitor.... but rather the 1.21 giga watts that's the cause of the problem ;)
