I used to be that guy. That guy that would read reviews on tech sites and not bother looking at comments. That guy that would (and I still do to a degree) get my own data for my opinions on a product. I was that guy that would watch Youtube videos and not even look at the comments. When I started reading comments on some Youtube and tech sites I was disappointed and put off with some of the baseless or brand loyal attacks that people would make on either side. I joined this site in 2017 and did not have much to say initially. I studied threads and comments on threads and came to the conclusion that this was a good site to add my own thoughts and insights to. Not only that but to also get information and opinions.
Since I have started making comments it has been a great understanding on my part that this is a site for people that are legit enthusiasts. Anytime I have posted a thread I seem (for the most part) to get exactly the information I was looking for. There has only been 1 time that I have been called an AMD fan boy after all of my posts even though I am none of the sort. I love the nostalgia threads, the speculation threads, reviews and everything else. I was on a thread today started by LostSwede and at this point there has been posts about BIOS updates, AMD's response to the issue and even a HWBot update for their specific issue.
I was on a thread the other day about a new Adata NVME drive and got into a discussion about their drives. Another user and myself were debating Adata and instead of it falling into a acromonious mess it ended with me being quite happy about learning about NVME drives that I was not aware of. The thing that I really liked though was that a moderator came on and addressed the desultory comment that was made.
So TPU keep up the good work!
