Trivia! Let's play guess that video card!

This one's a tough one -- who can tell what type of video card this is? Difficulty: there are almost no distinguishing marks on it at all. It's AGP, and from the model number (which google has never seen before), there might be 128MB of RAM (though that might be wrong!).

First one to tell me the correct answer gets $5 dollars delivered to their PayPal account!

That 315 in the part number makes me think it's a SIS 315 although searching it gives me some chinese websites

goolge says that AMIC chip was for Trident video cards.

Looks like it could be an SiS 315 128m with the DVI daughterboard but i cannot for the life of me find one with a DVI daughterboard attached

Yeah same here. That is what has me confused. I have only seen matrox cards with that kind of daughter boards

second guess is a Trident 9750/9850 with the aforementioned daugher card not likely because as far as I know trident never made a actively cooled card unless the cooler is aftermarket .. and the PCB color is wrong

If you remove the fan, the chip may have the brand on it.
That AMIC eeprom was released in 2001 so it was manufactured from that time on.

It was manufactuered by Netlist corperation (NLD is used in all their partnumbers), a Chinese company (I think) that seems to have some odd sticks of old ram floating around. Possibly SiS 315 or Xabre 400 chipset. Working on it.

Yeah caught on to that. Actually, I seen a few Intel quasi graphics cards labeled "DVD Accelerators" in the day of hardware MPEG2 decoding with daughterboards with DVI, but I really don't think netlist ever touched intel graphics and certainly not something like DVD accelerators.

My head hurts.

could be a OEM PULL out of a dell or IBM
TNT2 or RAGE128 ... they where known to use odd PCB's
don't rember seeing anything that new with that style EPROM tho

That's a thought. Actually, netlist did some partner work with IBM from what I can tell. Maybe look that route?

Could be a MX400 out of a dell or something they used ODD PCB's
infact now that I think about it dell did use king branded coolers on there geforce cards
or a rage 128 ULTRA with the add on S-video board
but most of those had lables plastered on the back side of the card

Damn I had an old Slot 1 Intel Celeron 333MHz, Asus AT motherboard with the 6326 Chipset. 256MB pc100 168 pin sdram (i think it could only run at 66), rockwell 56k modem, 10 GB hdd, Win 98.
