Na, I was just expressing my disappointment at the lack of positive comments. Looks like everyone just turned this thread into a joke. No chance of it being stickied for new members to find easily so a good bit of info is kinda wasted IMO.
I was surprised that no-one else pointed it out, so I felt I had to.
In light of this I propose to you a question:
Who is more of a troll; the people posting over 45 posts worth of non-helpfulness, or the one person who wants it to stop?
It's a thread about trolls; everyone trolled it, and I got called a troll for expressing my disappointment at the wasted thread.
Nothing against you, I think you might have just misinterpreted it.

I'm having some difficulty to identify what kind of troll species I am...considering what AphexDreamer said...
Interesting literature nonetheless, not sure how it will help the mods, though...

The subscribers are the main body it was aimed for... knowing how to spot a troll and report instead of killing the thread... there is a similar thread about spammers for general info

Cheers, I was most interested in finding out whether I have accidental "trollious tendencies". Forum etiquette is relatively new to me so I'm looking back through my old posts to see whether some posts I've made are a bit trolly
Information is addictive and I just gotta learn about trolls!!

This was kinda the point to me. Gary did this to attract trolling by taking shots at those people. Then his core of friends trolled him for it. I think he got exactly what he wanted.

Accidental Troll; not used to forum physics so posts inadvertent irrelevant BS!

    Definition: Troll-hunter troll

The type of person that trolls a forum, constantly looking to find trolls, or to publicly harass and belittle people who have a different opinion, or poor command of the English language, and to proclaim them as unclean trolls. And to categorize them into boxes. The troll-hunter troll is psychologically driven like some kind of self-righteous nazi witch-hunt.

Trolls are great. Wind them up and watch them go.
Here is a classic example of a common breed pulling up an old subject because s/he is bored and wants to bait someone into a hollow, pointless argument.

    Loadsa fun.
