What is up with modded Nvidia drivers? I have just recently learned of them, but don't really know anything about them. This is such a noob question, and I am sorry for it. But say the Omega drivers, they are the only drivers I have seen for Vista x64. 169.25. What would be the difference between them, and the Nvidia 169.25?

This is a really bad time frame for any responses on our forums. This is pretty much dead hours right now.

Modded drivers are people's attempt to make graphics drivers perform better (i.e. better FPS than the stock drivers) or have less clutter.

What I would do: Download nVidia's Forceware and some modded Forceware, and test them against eachother in a few games and benchmarks. See which you like better :D

PS: Is that a modded Escort GT I see in your avatar? That's not something you see everyday.

Tell me about it. Had to get rid of it last year. It was pretty much an Australian Laser TX-3 Conversion. Everything but all wheel drive. Look it up, the Tx-3 is a pretty bad-ass little car.
Yeah, I have learned alot in the past few days. I owe it all to everyone on here. Thanks again.

No offense taken man! Yeah as it's been said, sometimes posts just get caught in all the rush and sink to the bottom. If you haven't seen a response to a seemingly-simple to answer question, just bump it like you did. Nothing wrong with that :toast:

Glad to hear you've learned a lot. I've been a member for like what over a year now? And I'm still learning as much as I did when I joined. As least I'm not quite as overwhelmed :D

Some modded drivers are really good. Others are just crap. X-treme G drivers have worked really well for me.
