Are you using compression fittings or 1/2" barbs?

I personally like using 3/8" Fesser and stretch it over the half inch barbs without clamps.

Primoflex UV get's my vote, last's a long time, has good flexibility and add's some colour to your case! Clear tubing just goes funky after a while and need's to be replaced

Agreed, if you want color, buy colored tubing, don't bother with water additives. My Tygon went sort of a brownish color in like 6 months.

The PVC tubing you listed is the same stuff that is sold in hardware stores for much cheaper. Are you looking at clear tubing because you plan on using coolant or dye?

Fesser make's some UV tubing IIRC, it prolly is the same as Primiflex just rebranded

I have compression fittings that are 1/2 ID x 5/8 OD I just have some tighter bends and am trying to avoid kinks. Prefer clear tubing for the looks and also already have pre bought dyed coolant. Will more than likely just swap it out for colored tubing in the future and distilled water. However for the time being I just want the most flexible tubing in 1/2 ID X 5/8 OD.

Just make sure you don't have any tight bends or use proper fittings and you will be fine.

^^ Maybe not the newest review but still valid IMHO. I think clear tubing and dyed coolant is a waste, the tubing will go to shit in no time and the dyed coolant will gunk up your loop.

If you got money & time to burn go ahead and run the clear tubing with dye, but be forewarned you will have replace the tubing and do a pretty intense cleaning/service of the ENTIRE loop! Like take apart your block's and flush the RAD out really good with something like CLR

Some hardware store tubing is complete junk! Just because your local HW store has something useable does NOT mean every HW store has the same stuff, buy the right tubing once and you will never have to worry about it again! I'm still running some Primoflex that is 7yrs old! Not a single issue, need to run a bristle brush through it when i service the loop to keep it as clean as day 1 but other than that it has not degraded a single bit
