Nice find. Pretty dissapointing results, Vista wise anyway. Well see how this and the 3870x2 look in a month or two to see if there are any performance gains for the cards in the drivers(for the GX2's sake, there better be at its price point).

We need next gen cards as 9800 is essentially 8800 architecture. 8800 was totally new unified design compared to 7900 series. I think ATI are going to be a worry to Nvidia now. Competition is good for us though in performance/price.

Looks like ATI might have won this round.
and the 9xxx series isnt quite the 8800 architecture, the 8800 architecture is G80, a completely different process.
its more like the G92 8800s are using the 9800 architecture, which is fine because they came out not long ago.

I have looked at the benches of the 9800GTX on pconline and all the tests are done without AA/AF which will not tax the 256 bit bus of this card. I am looking forward to seeing how it performs against the 8800GTX/Ultra at high res with AA/AF enabled.

i think the banchmark boys are having probs, how can they with a system similar to the one used on the W1zz review have a worst results??? dispite the fact that they have a better CPU the Q6600 and W1zz used E6550 don't get me wrong but i prefere to buy and feel or hear the owners feelings...
