Twitch CPU affect while playing games?

Does opened Twitch Stream's in Google Chrome affect CPU while playing games or should i close all Twitch Stream's while playing games?

Depends on the game, but mostly not enough to care. It will obviously use some processing power, but unless you're playing Total War I can't imagine you'd notice a difference.

Surprisingly video players like twitch or YouTube can use up a decent amount of CPU resource. As mentioned by Rcoon though, it would depend on your game, and also, how much your PC has to spare in regards to system HP. Below is a image of my task manager, with twitch running in the background, you can see its effect (with several other tabs not shown) is more than nothing, but in my case, even games like GTA5, etc, use only around 45% of my CPU power, so 45% + 20% = 65%, and there is plenty left. You need to determine if your machine is working with spare HP, or is it being pushed to the limit.

Something I found effective, my kids like to have YouTube and other video players running in the background while they play games and if they experience performance loss due to it ,I just have them run the video players off their phones
