If I could find the components I am looking for and actually got round to my Windows 7 64bit retail upgrade PLUS DX11 hardware upgrade I would have had these off you (or offered a trade of my 3GB kit plus £50 ) But I am a little way off that yet, purely because i cannot find the graphics cards I want at the right price yet.

Well it's a choice of 2 setups, probably a pair of Sapphire HD5850 Vapor X's but at a "decent" price which is the difficult one. Otherwise I might have to just settle for a pair of HD5770 Vapor X's which perform around the single HD5870 but for cheaper. I would then at the same time buy Win 7 64bit (I have only the RC candidate) and then upgrade to 6gigs of Ram as their is little point on a 32 bit system, especially as 2 of my 4gigs of available memory would be on the Gfx cards.

Just buy the cheapests 5850 you can get and go after market later on fella, the Vapor-xs are not THAT much better after all.

All about after Market, I tend to find people are very open to trades when it comes to haetsinks and such like too : ]

I need the Vapor X cooling.... really after owning these 2 toxics that I run 24/7 at 1000mhz with no voltage tweaks and at load with the fans just running auto top no higher than 60C, and thats totally inaudible. They will both do 1040mhz with no tweaks although the Vapor X are lesser binned chips, I would have them just for the cool and quietness TBH.

Well compared to your 4890's they will defo run cool anyway, I have the egg shaped 5770 coolers and at auto they sit at 37c get upto 60c whilst gaming

Lucky you, though atm I have 5, I get tax credits weekly which is due to stop in April and I just had a salary clawback/reduction scheme implemented

You want that trade Tatty or can you defo only do it after you get your gpu's? I work in Droitwich too so would be good to meet up if you could.

Still looking for me cards, I wanna buy it all together including the Windows 7, I will have more time this weekend so hopefully I will find what I am looking for then, if so and you havent sold then I am still game.

I havent personally, though just google the sn on them and the d9jnm chips you will see they hit 1866+ consistently, only ever took them to 1800 myself leaving timings on auto
