Just got a mail from Crucial UK:
OMG. Do want.
save yourself the trouble, don't get their refurbs.
f**king hell, do I pull trigger on 128gb or even better value 256gb SSD, shit I could sell my 90gb Vertex 2 for the price of the 128gb
Edit: 140MB/s write, not for me, 275MB/s on my vertex2
Can you share why?
I be a bit worried about buying refurb SSD's as most company's throw circuit boards away and not fix them. Hopefully they are just ones that had a bad\faulty flash.
I would do some real heavy research before buying that's for sure.
If Crucial certifies them as working correctly, I wouldn't be worried about it. Refurbishing is a very normal process, and I wouldn't find it hard to believe if a lot of companies simply do a product test and a repack, then sell them as "new" anyway.
this is why
That is not how I know Crucial, so thanks for sharing Didn't quite expect that.
me and some friends only know crucial in that way unfortunately. I have mad other posts b4 about crucial as well in the past.
