[UK] HD 7970 LCS (EK Water Block fitted) £290
NO LONGER FOR FOR SALE!!
Hi Guys,
I had intended to crossfire the card I'm selling with a new one. I bought an MSI 7970 OC and separate EKWB, backplate and single slot I/O bracket. Dismantled rig, put new card in and then had a bitch of an issue with the tubing (offset from gpu1 to gpu2).
So I got lazy and thought, screw it, sell the Powercolor card!
I ran the Powercolor card in everyday use at 1100 Core and 1500 Memory. I've had it up to 1300/1600 (achieved, at time of this post, 8th position in 3DMark11 ranking) http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135908.
The card is fast and under my very low rpm fans maxed out at 56 degrees. My rad fans spin at 700 rpm. I like my silence. That leads to the only minor point. I could easily sell this and not mention it but i'm not a douchebag. The card has a small amount of coil whine. It's not bad, it's just there. If you have headphones on (and not even even noise coming through - you can't hear the whine. My PC sits literally 1 1/2 foot from my head so i'm probably making a meal of it but I don't want the buyer giving me negative rep.
So, summary:
Powercolor HD7970 LCS (Liquid Cooling Solution)
All accessories included (shown in pics) inc. an active mini DP to single link adapter (card has dual link DVI so good for 2560x1600).
Single slot with single slot I/O bracket.
Excellent overclocker.
Little bit of coil whine.
Oh... in case you're mentally deficient - this needs a water cooled loop to run.
PAYPAL only please.
£290 inc delivery I'll throw in the Sleeping Dogs key I got with my new card as well.
