Hi all! I happen to have this laptop from Clevo, which has a GTX 1070 MXM. Its BIOS has been already dumped on https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/205574/205574; but I'll attach mine just in case it's different.

I'm running some games and I would like to underclock/undervolt it a little bit so it runs cooler. With the stock settings I can only get around -200MHz on the core clock, and about -500MHz on the VRAM clock. However, I can't change the voltages nor the power limits.

Is it possible to modify this bios and unlock it somehow?

Thanks!

what are you using to underclock? I had a Clevo with a GTX1060 and using MSI Afterburners voltage/clock speed curve editor (CTRL+F) I was able to successfully undervolt it with great results, like usual.

Afterburner works fine for undervolting/underclocking. However, on my Clevo laptop perf drops loke a rock if I lower voltage below 800mv, clocks still reports fine, but perf is terrible.

Afterburner doesn't allow me to change the voltages, I can only modify the core clock and the vram clock, and with a really small range.
Do you have to do anything special to achieve this? I've tried with all these "unlock voltage control" modes available and I still don't get any voltage controls.
Thanks for your replies guys!

Press CTRL+F, this opens curve editor. I would suggest making a flat line from 800mv at 1750-1850, depending on what is stable. This will give you a bit lower perf than stick, but thermals and nouse will be much better.

guide to afterburner UV.

This seems to have worked great! It's a little bit cumbersome to edit the curve, but it did the trick!
One thing I've noted is that I don't seem to be able to tweak the memory clock at all. I want to boost the clock a little bit, but it never changes. Any suggestions on that?
Thanks!

There is very limited gains from mem oc. Cooling can also be an issue.
