So, basic start off:
i5 2500k OCed
GTX 970
8 gb ram
750 watt Psu.
Ok, so whenever I played a game (Dark Souls 3 for example), I only get a value of ~40-50 GPU% usage. When I first load Unigene heaven and its playing through the scenes, I get about the same GPU usage %. However, when I run the actual benchmark (f9) where its recording, GPU usage jumps to over 90% (which is where it should be, including games).
So my questions is: what is the difference to playing the scenes, and playing them in benchmark mode. More to the point, how can I get it to run that way all the time.
I've cleanly uninstalled (ddu program) drivers, installed multiple versions of drivers, power management for windows and GPU are both set to max performance, did a complete fresh windows install (and many other things) and nothing fixed it. Extremely frustrating to buy a good card and not have it run correctly. Help me Obi-wan Kenobis... you're my only hope?
