Unlocked shaders on HIS Success? or No?

I'm trying to see if I can Unlock my HIS non-reference 6950 2gb using the method below.

Is there a list of cards which have succesfully unloked shaders usng the method shown in this vid

No its non reference. This thread pertains specifically to non reference video cards.

I noticed that I seen maybe 5 post where people were told their XFX 6950 shaders cant be unlocked...but this guy did it using this method.

I know my card brand isnt the most popular in the gaming world, but maybe somebody has tried and succeeded.

Please be aware my post is specific to the method show in the video.

From what I can tell via Google, that card is not unlockable, but I didn't find enough evidence to support that outright.

If you don't have a backup video card that would allow you to flash back, I wouldn't even attempt it.

As it stands right now you have a 50/50 chance. Someone with your exact same card may get theirs to unlock while you may not. There is no way to tell before hand. Either try it or don't. If it doesn't work, the shaders just won't unlock, the card should still work and you can just flash it back. You're basically asking a question with no definitive answer.

Okay, in not trolling by the way. I was just trying to weed out people who like to comment advice but are not positive on answers. I think I'll just not even try it. The benefits don't seem to be worth the risk.

i have tried everything ..but nothing seems to work..
The ati winflash (when i used this method atiwinflash -f -p 0 modded.bin) give me a loading screen and then closes down half way then nothing happens... does anyone else have the same prob?
IM using a sapphire 6950 with no bios switch and the fan is in the center .. on windows 7
Can i even mod my card? PLZ help
