I've got one, but it's on my character and I'm at work. It's just like you to be driving a smoking one, I don't know how many times you used to drive cars with red parts in dayZ. But those kill you.

I'm actually really glad cars don't have inventory spots. I'm not attached to any particular vehicle, I grab whatever is handy, and when I log out I don't have to worry about getting it back to a hiding place.

I have noticed the cars have been respawning quite often. I found three new ones just walking around

I wish the loot did, it takes FOREVER to spawn new stuff. It's a drag because by the time I start playing it's been picked over, and there is no restarting the server until you wake up in the morning.

Well when I get up in the morning I will make a script that will restart the server every 4 hours or so and see if that helps

You are a true Southern Gentleman.

I just started working on my first real structure, I don't' have much time into it, but it sure takes a lot of trees to make anything.

Only thing about the restart script is there is NO WAY of warning the players it is about to happen so that is a bummer

Don't worry about adding a script, then, at least on my account. The loot spawns will probably be addressed in a future patch. Aside from the loot, though, a lot of times after the server has been up for awhile the zombies are pretty scarce.

I just got the script going, its on a 4 hour restart schedule and we will see how it goes. If people start complaining about it restarting while driving or crafting then I will take it off and manually do it during the day.

Personally i like the idea of the restart script. Mostly for more zombies. Not that many people trying to kill me so makes it more fun trying to find loot and things.

hmm question how strong are metal doors and metal lockers? Got my self a little base set up. Well nicked one that's been derelict for a while. Completed it, metal door than a metal locker for some valuables. However they were both gone and only my sleeping back left this morning? Can they be easily destroyed? Is there a stronger door than a metal door?

I bet its the base I had setup next to erocker cause someone threw a metal door up and we took it down with a fire axe and chainsaw. Sorry but I had built that base first.

It's ok I've set up shop elsewhere now. Too busy there. I've noticed metal doors are rather weak. Takes a couple of seconds for one zombie to tear it down. Which there was a stronger version. Resource expensive but could only be destroyed with explosives etc. otherwise there's no point in building a stone base if the doors are so easily destroyed. :(

I am currently looking for a place to build a base and this morning searched the server over looking for a map. I also found a heli crash and it had a new style weapon that I picked up.
