Upgrading a 3200g to a 3600xt

Ok so i have the following system
Amd 3200g
Gigabyte a320m-h
16g ddr4 ram
Rx 580 8g
500w psu
i would like to upgrade to a 3600xt will the psu be able to handle it and will the mobo be capable
please dont tell me to use psu caculator

What brand is your psu?
As for motherboard look at the gigabyte website to see if 3600xt is supported.
if it is then its good to go.

Just a need a bit more info..
what speed is the ram? amd cpu's love fast ram

motherboard says it works but it also says a A320M-H works witha 3950x so i dont trust it

Psu will handle it fine, you need to update your motherboard bios to support ryzen 3000 cpu, the 3200g is based on ryzen+ aka ryzen 2000 cpu cores, so that's the only issue I can see. Also not sure how the boards vrm will hold up as a320 is really the bottom of the stack though it should run stock settings at least, any reason for the 3600xt instead of the 3600, nearly the same performance but 30w less

I agree, at this point the main concern is Mobo VRM, but it coluld be solvable for cheap,using for example a fan pointed directly to the vrm
