Hi!

I'm a bit bored with my case and I want to change.
So thought about it, checked some builds and videos and I want to move to mini-ITX.
So I guess its time to upgrade (and waste money :D).

I know that my current hardware is enough for "now" but I just want to upgrade.

I will keep the GPU and PSU and CPU cooler..

This is what I've got in mind for a build:

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv Black/Red
Motherboard: MSI Z270I GAMING PRO CARBON AC
CPU: I5 7600k or maybe 7700k
RAM: 2x 8GB DDR4 - Don't really know what would be a "good" speed for DDR4 (Would like either RGB or Red LED)

Any suggestions ?

Thanks!

You'll like it when it's done.
I just put together an M-ITX box in an older case. Gaming performance is good and temps are decent.

EVGA Z170 Stinger Mainboard with i5-6600K and two 8GB DDR4-3200MHz Geil RGB RAM.
The 3200MHz RAM is good to go and not much more money than slower speeds cost.

I'm using a GTX-980 Windforce GPU in it.

Why not just jump to the latest ? The board+cpu combo you mentioned has almost the same price (+/- 20€) here that the combo I said.
As for the RAM, cant really find that brand here in local stores.
Thanks!

Yeh! I was just checking them.
Those or the Gskill RGB RAM
Although I think the Corsair red led ones look more redish.
Thanks
