Just wanted to warn the forum users of a pending issue with the Uplay store. Before Easter break, many customers, myself included, experienced problems trying to buy games on Uplay. The Anno 1800 game, was just released, and many had hoped to be able to play the game during Easter break. But due to an unknown issue, the purchase transaction failed. After filling out the CC form and clicking buy, we got a "404 page not found", no download available and no entry in the order history. No other explanation of what happened, or what the issue was. This lead to many trying a second time, thinking they filled out the CC info wrong, but the same thing would occur again. Trouble is that our credit cards were charged every time. Well, technically the cash were reserved on our cards, so hopefully the funds will be released back to us automatically. Anyway, tickets were submitted using their support system, and now up to 8-9 days later for some, we still haven't heard from Ubisoft. Many threads&posts over at their forums, and lots of complaints at the Uplay reddit. Seems like the issue isn't isolated to Anno either.
