Could be a few things like aa bad battery could be incompatible UPS or even a overloaded UPS..

Maybe post full specs of all the items in question and maybe some one will be able to help you faster..

Usually a ups battery have a life of 2-3 years, I think you must replace the battery, or buy a new ups...

I'd contact the manufacturer. They can tell by the description of the symptoms if they think it is the batteries or the circuitry. They should also be able to tell you what model of batteries and how many there are in it.

Do not buy UPS from companies like WEP, Frontech, Zebronics etc. I can tell you this because I live in India too.
I am using an APC BackupUP ES500 - 500VA UPS since 2009 and still I can boast about its 15-20 mins battery backup. Many of my friends have APC UPS and their results are similar. APC UPSes cost a bit more than the others but it is worth it I think. As for your problem, I don't think replacing the battery will be worth it because you won't get much warranty.

You should always keep up the maintenance / warranty on your UPS so you can get the batteries replaced every few years. Make sure you test them every few months as well!
