I have Windows 7 64 bit on my ASUS laptop and am having problems with the USB for my ddr mat.

USB headset, mouse, keyboard all work. The DDR mat driver installs and works on other computers and laptops but on my laptop it gives me a driver not found, USB has malfunctioned/damaged. I have tried it in all of the different USB ports on the laptop, nothing works.

    Any ideas?

Sounds either like a broken mat, or the driver doesnt have either win7 support or 64-bit os support

You sure the lappy is giving enough juice to the mat? Sometimes USB ports on laptops don't give enough power for some items.

is there a way to check that? This is a gaming laptop and 17", wouldn't think it'd be a problem...
and if so is there a way to fix it?

    try to uninstall the device
then restart, usually it works when you plug any device but it cannot be read
or the other check the driver

    i hope it works
