I'm putting together a new system and I want to use my old PSU temporarily till I have the money to upgrade it in a month or so.
The PSU is a Antec 400 smartpower model SL400 rated 380 watts max and 240 watts max on the 5v and 3.3v it has 38A on the 5v,23A on the 12v and 28A on the 3.3v

The new system is these components.

Athlon 64 X2 3600 Brisbane
Asus M2R32 MVP
2-1GB DDR2 PC6400
Zalman 9500 CPU cooler
3-120mm case fans
1-IDE 7200rpm hard drives
1-Floopy drive
1-DVD drive

I wanted to get either a 1950 pro or a 1650xt.
Will this PSU handle either of these cards until I can upgrade?

should run fine on that rig, you havent got any high power components really aside from the x1950pro if you go down that road and that should be fine anyway
