Use or not

Hi all

I have a doubt, today arrived to me this new psu:

my question is, im live in Argentina, ¿is necessary to install a voltage stabilizer like this

http://www.trv.com.ar/concept.htm to protect the psu or i plugin the new psu direct to

220v?.

I hope can understand me what i write.

I would definitely use a voltage stabilizer if your power quality is poor. Is it necessary? Probably not, but one would probably help protect your power supply/computer.

I you have many brownouts, blackouts or a fluctuating mains voltage then yes, otherwise I don't think it's necessary., Though in my experience, is better a UPS in those cases.

In my case I only have a surge suppressor during 10 years and none problems so far

About the voltage, generally, PC PSUs have a rather wide range of input voltage, for example, mine can accept 200 to 240V

future headaches on my new computer, to be safe and sleep quiet.

i rather like running UPS's in this situation the battery likes to take most of the uh-ohs in power pretty well.

yep UPS for more protection. but stabilizer is OK too
