Vantage score dropped after fresh OS install

Running my system with a HLFS Raptor, my vantage score was close to 21000.
I bought a SSD and did a fresh install, same drivers as on the Raptor and now I am about 1000 points lower.
I have even pumped the cpu to 4250Mhz and still cannot achieve the same score.
10.6 drivers in use.
Any idea what may have happened here?

Did you install your Chipset Drivers and Update DirectX?

100%. I tried the 10.7 drivers before with the raptor and found a drop in performance.
Instead of reformatting I re-imaged the drive from immediately after setting 7 up on the SSD. Yet to test, but I have put the 10.7's on now just to test.
Only difference from running the same hardware/software on the Raptor as opposed to the SSD is that I had IDE enabled in BUIOS for the Raptor and AHCI for the SSD.

Opinions on these scores are welcome

. Running with 9800GT as Physx.

5850 @ 900/1200 and cpu @ 4050Mhz.

This one same settings without the 9800GT.

Still does not beat my previous high of 20758.
