VapoChill LS i7 conversion

Okay folks I have a VapoChill LS and a socket 754 headkit ...I would like to fabricate some way of using this on my i7.....Anyone have any ideas ,recomendations,thoughts ??????????

I know the VapoChill will not cool the i7 like it did the 754 Chip , but I believe it will cool it and maintain a lower temprature than any water cooling options for the same price;As i already own the VapoChill !! ...I am guessing overclock over volt load tempratures will be around 0 - 20 cels.

I have had the VapoChill on an 3700+ at 1.75 volts and the CPU stayed frozen in the negative number range..Oh well kick me your ideas.

can you make or replace the head kit

there is a bracket that duniek sells for the vapo to be used on i7. you'll find the thread along with others on xtremesystems.

try it..... if i had one i would. just dont expect negative temps at moderate oc's.

Perhaps finding someone to make an adaptor for the current clamshell head, probably out of some kind of acrylic.

Perhaps CyberDruid would be up to the task or you can contact duniek as Fit suggested.

lol he replied back at 39Euro but I have no idea exactly what he is selling me and his reply back to my PM didn't really make any sense ..he linked me to a thread that he is doing mods for water parts and back plates and he also states something about a Mach and A LS but for me it looks like a solid NO GO !DAMN IT ...Screw it i will do the mod my self ...if it burns the CPU up or the Mobo then Oh well I will use my other rig and call it a lesson learned, :banghead:

I would never in a million years have purchased the VapoChill LS ($850+Tax)if I would have known Asetek was not going to continue to support them!

i've got a few vapos lined up...

one for $175 and one for $350.
