Vbios Backup

    Hello


    well I tried updating the Vbios of my Asus 6850 and was stupid
    enough not to make a backup. Guess what happened next yeah I didn’t work now the cards unstable and crash once its put under pressure. So does anyone have a backup form there Asus 6850 for me I would be very thank full. I tried all the versions on the techpowerup site but they do not work.

    Might want to include the model number and a link to the card you have in your OP

    Note: Use *edit button and add these detail

    I think that this is a great opportunity to remind people that you really shouldn't flash your GPU unless you know exactly what you're getting yourself into. More often than not, it isn't worth the hassle or the issues it can cause. Not to mention it can also brick your GPU if you do it wrong.

    Best of luck flashing it back.

    So flashed back a older version of the Vbios and after running a couple of tests everything seems to be working like it should, thanks for the help. From now on i'll stick to the principle if it's not broken don't fix it.

    Nothing like a learning experience that turns out okay in the end. It's really a shame when people learn the hard way by bricking their GPU.
