I think so too. But how come power color was sacrificed while sapphires work?

Unless the sapphires are also botched but I don't notice it in the games.

Powercolor was very obvious though.

Pixelation to me is memory, textural artifacting is either game flaws or gpu failure.

Timings for memory are normally tightened but on vega you supposedly can't modify it for mining. Only other way is to run it at stupid clock speeds and voltages.

Well, the issue showed up in same game but the Sapphire didn't produce same white "pixelations" as the powercolor. Both of course operated at stock everything. So I'm curious why powercolor Vega 64 is screwed while sapphires Vega 64 isn't.

I gotta send them back next week.

Id say at this rate memory on the tul cards failing, are voltages the same?

nothing was modified. I didn't modify anything, he didn't modify a single thing.

Stock cards. All of them. I am assuming voltages would be the same across the board.

So they use same memory, same everything, but powercolor doesn't work while sapphire does. While all of them were used for mining.

Not all cards are exact physically, some will last 100 years, others only a few seconds.

Im just glad you have 1 that does work...

2 technically. Other Sapphire card works too. It is 2 powercolors that don't and 2 sapphires that do.

I am assuming they work. I don't notice the white dot artifacts on them. Powercolor ones on other hand were very noticeable. On sapphire? Cant tell if it happens or not. Sometimes I think my eyes playing tricks on me with it. But cant guarantee or see them. So otherwise, they seem to work.

One is with my system. The other was supposed to go to my friend but doesn't work for him. The 550w psu wasn't enough I'm assuming as systems games keeps crashing after couple minutes of use and drivers fail. Tested in my machine just fine.

A good PSU is a cornerstone for any PC build. One that isn't powerful enough or is malfunctioning can throw all kinds of weird errors up for you to try and diagnose.

well, it is a corsair 550W gold standard. Figured it would be enough but guess not. Oh well. He will get my GTX 1070 and I will find another use for the other Sapphire Vega 64.

Have you taken the power color cards apart and given them a good cleaning?
No. Not gonna void warranty.

They are being sent back to USA so my buddy sends them in for RMA.

Well you cut to the chase lol.

It is possible they were overheated.

Also certain vega parts are molded and unmolded, the unmolded ones required thicker pads.
