Should I turn Vertical Sync on or off in CCC? Which gives you better performance?

It sync's the frame rate to the monitor refresh rate, which prevents image tearing (e.g. top half of previous frame with bottom half of the next together on the screen at the same time makes the image look 'torn' during high motion). Make sure you have the refresh rate set as high as supported for the res you are running, and have v-sync on by default.

Don't have it forced to 'always on' though, If you force vsync on during a benchmark your framerate would have an upper limit of your monitors refresh rate.
