viewsonic vga to saphire 6850 video card with dvi, 24pin convertor don't work ?

convertors are crap, But you need to expand on your info. Do you mean DVI to D sub? As in the DVI from the card to a DVI / D sub converter that came wtih the card?

look closely at the bracket of your 68xx only one DVI port supports vga converters, as shown in this image.
