Vista file sharing

Hello everyone;

I just got my new computer up and running, however I'm having trouble using file sharing in Vista. Every time I go to click on one of my computers in the network window I get a box that asks me for login information. So my question is what login info do I need to provide?

there's a walkaround and an only way i have found. Go to folder sharing settings and add a guest account as a co-owner to the sharing permissions.

cant you just turn off password protected sharing in network and sharing centre ?

i switched it off and didn't help.
