According to various websites Nintendo sent out a card to game journalists that contain both the phrases "In 2006 Nintendo launches a Revolution" and "Before changing the face of videogaming forever, Nintendo France wishes you Merry Holidays and a Happy New Year!"
With the card comes a stand up display of a man who seems to be assuming the position you may do once you purchase a Nintendo Revolution.
