Hi everyone, wich voltage minimum recommend me to set in bios, i ll not oc the cpu but i dont like the Intel SpeedStep option

try 1.175v and work down from there. I'd turn off turbo too, then.

I will say though, that it's recommended to leave all that good stuff on when overclocking...1155 isn't like previous platforms.

Lowest I have gotten my I7 920 (Yes I know its not a SB) was 900mV on stock clocks and it was rock stable

I thanks for reply, one question how i set manually the multiplier beacuse i disable speedstep but when i launc cpu drop de multiplir to x16

What motherboard do you have? If its a H one then I dont think it has OCing features so you may be screwed with using speedstep

you need to turn off C1E and such, as well as change power profile within windows to set minimum processor speed to 100%, as seen in the attached picture.

Two last questions

¿wich phase control i choose?, i write again ill not do oc to the cpu

i have four options: º standar, º optimized and º extreme

The other question

¿its recomended leave enable the option called "Cpa-Q Fan Control?
Actualy i have enable and selected a turbo profile mode, but the bios let me if i want to do a custom profile, ¿wich recomend me? i want to put very cool the cpu i dont care if is very loud
