Ok so i had a pair of GSkill 2x4GB 2133 DDR3 and i bought another pair of 2x4GB Kingston 2400. I installed the DIMMs, reset BIOS then booted up, all worked fine at 1600.
Got into CPUZ saw the timings 11-13-13-30-2T 1.6v for the Kingston kit at 2133 set them at that booted up tested with Prime95 Blend for an hour, played Dirt Rally, TW Warhammer Metro 2033, ROG Benchmark, IBT x64 all was fine.
I shut down the computer for the night(completly unpowerd it at the wall socket as i always do).
Next morning i booted up > "overclock failed hit F1" and i have the same problem for about 4 days now, whenever i shut down, overclock failed and the red led light error on the motherboard is lit.
So i`m almost sure that RAM settings or voltage are a problem, they are at 1.65V tried bumping VCCSA voltage a bit, nothing. Tried manual set the timings and voltages and used XMP, tried switching the DIMMs in their sockets, clear CMOS still nothing. It is driving me nuts
Thanks.

Rest of the system is in the specs.
Also i had them at 2000 still have the problem, didn't try 1866 though.

They work fine at 1600, with or without the CPU overclock.replace the CMOS battery.
