The Vortex ViBE uses an all-new 78% form factor with a Num Pad that can easily be turned into an arrow key cluster to give you the best of both worlds. It also features new PBT/dye-sub/SA profile stock keycaps, choice of eight Cherry MX switches, a thick metal case with no bezel, and extensive onboard controls and programming options.

These chopped up keyboards make me angry - a regular 80% is only a bit bigger, but offers a streamlined experience without the need for combo keys i.e. Alt+FN+4=Alt+F4.

I think TKL is right size for gamers.
I would like to see more PBT dye sublimited keycaps on market.
Can you imagine SA Profile PBT dye sublimited. That would cost 100$ easy only for keys.
Anyway good ABS SA Profiles are 70-100$.

I'm fan of all durable and class mechanical keyboards.
Mine keyboard is from Deck, model Francium Pro and she have quality 2 layer FR4 PCB and programable options and I could change keycaps on some diferent colors.
Only flaw on my keyboard is because power cable is not removable.
That's not problem now, but I would like to put my keyboard in silver aluminium case.
That would be perfection than, aluminium case, Deck's keyboard and some new dye sublimited PBT keycaps.

Small Keyboards I would like to try are

-Filco Manila Air
-Happy Hacking Keyboard

others.
-Filco Convertible 2 Bluetooth
- WASD V2

On mechanicalkeyboards could be find for 100-110$ great, durable mechanical keyboards with PBT keycaps. Sometimes some of great models on discounts.
Last I saw is Ducky One TKL PBT keycaps for 89$ with Cherry MX Brown keycaps.

I think this looks good! It's got the old-school industrial color-scheme going on and the contrast of the different colored key it really kind striking. The lack of arrow keys is deal-breaker for me personally, but there are a ton of people who don't care. This is cool, even at that price.

Saw that. It's missing the ten-key. I need a fully functional keyboard.

Ah okay. There are some 95% layout keyboards that combine everything into a smaller space, and usually these kinds of keyboards tend to go with the different color schemes too. I'll try and get a couple for coverage here.

A 1800 layout is probably your best bet then. Leopold's FC980M/FC980C keyboards use such a layout, as does the Cherry G80-1800.
