I am trying to add some heatsink onto my VRAM and VRM, the ones I already have are full copper very nice but they were used while back when I was overclocking, I do remember there is a way to reuse them by taking off the thermal padding on the heatsink and replace them with .5mm (i think) thermal pad but I do not recall if there is a better way of doing it.

right now the heatsink keep on falling off the card. the other day i got so pissed almost started supergluing

awesome! thank you so much!

when do i actually use thermal pad? or with the adhesive mix there is no point of using thermal pads anymore?

just to be sure, thermal compound adhesive mix is okay to be used on VRM and stuff right? or do i have to pick the non conductive ones?

if you can find a electronic grade silicon sealant to put on any traces, otherwise id take extreme caution. I did the AS thermal adhesive mixed with the AS5 for the ram on this card (there is a metal shim all the way around.

oh cool I have some silicon sealant left over from LN2 and stage 2 sessions from while back.
Thanks a lot bud.

Thanks gents! I think I actually have some of the arctic adhesive stuff in the drawer (remember seeing it 6 months ago)
