Want to buy a new cooler - choices below

I need your help, i want to exchange the CPU cooler on my machine with a better one. However choices are limited - here is what i can go for:

1. Arctic Cooling Freezer Extreme

2. Coolermaster GeminII S

3. Scythe Kama Cross

4. Scythe Ninja 2

5. Thermalright AXP-140

6. Xigmatek HDT RS1283

7. Xigmatek HDT S1284 Achilles

Please, do not reccomend anything else, cos really, those are my choices.

LGA 1366 would be nice aswell, but not really needed at the moment.

The HDT S1284 hands down. One of, if not THE best cooler on the market. Gorgeous too.

S1283 or S1284. And ONLY these two. Close to 1.5V on my CPU and the 1283 handled it no problem.

Agreed!! S1283 keeps my new Tri Core with 1.47V nice and chilly!

Well, i was thinking of the Thermalright since i saw a good review at Xbit, but it is massive! Very big, you cannot fit tall ram by the looks of things.

The Freezer and the GeminII S have a sweet price, i just wonder how is the Freezer Xtreme performing?

Xiggies are good but i dont really know what to do tbh. I might just stay with what i got afterall.

Another quiestion, none of the listed Xgimmateks comes with the crossbow retention thing right? You have to buy it seperately?

XIGMATEK Dark Knight-S1283V and the Xigmatek Achilles-S1284 both come with one.

Oh thats nice then, i thought it was only the Dark Knight, but since the Achilles S1284 comes with one as well, i will buy that, since the place where i will shop from (KM Elektronik - german) doesnt have seperate retention modules.

EDIT: Is their website not updated, cos on it it says "LGA775 push-pin / AM2 & K8 tool-less clip" for the Achilles 1284

Last time i checked you buy the retention kit seperately for a small price....
Either way the AXP-140 is the best, then the dark knight.

Ok then, gonna get the Xigmatek HDT RS1283, price 31.99 Eur, not that bad. Later on i will buy a crossbow thing with an I7 socket support (if i move to i7 that is).
