Here, this is what a 100% OC looks like :D

Ignore core voltage, thats just in prep for when the FSB goes so high I'm still OCing my 3200+ :p

Note that I've only adjusted primary and Alpha timings atm, I've not adjusted any memory configuration paramaters.

    Next up, pushing for 150%

    112% Oc

112%. In case your all wondering, yes I'm intending to set a nF4 chipset WR :D not that I'm turning my nose up at a FSB of 425MHz and counting

    OOOh tasty.

    What is the world record?

Maybe I could have a shot at it myself seeing as i have an nf4 chipset myself. Hmmm.

not sure on the current WR, but im probably close to it. gl if you have a bash too, remember not allnF4s are created equal so your chipset might want to fight you for it ;)

I have taken my fsb to 333 before during overclocking. Got a little flakey then but I think it was my cheapo RAM not playing nice with me. :(

when your after a chipset WR you bang in a 100MHz divider and let fly ;)

Very true. I still want to find somewhere selling my old RAM so I can get it back.

I really miss my OCZ PC4000 Gold VX.

Was such a sweet overclocking RAM.

    i thought a 100% oc on a 2ghz chip would make it 4ghz?.

    Oh wait.. 100% HTT?

    so?

I've done over 465... I was hoping it was a CPU overclock.. but I guess not..

btw, if you want a better htt speed, lower your CPU multiplier to get the mhz as low as possible.. and keep ram slow..

I think htt record is like 525 mhz..

    EDIT: wr:

no, because when going for a chipset WR a low CPU multiplier and a 100MHz divider are used to stay the effects of physical limits of the RAM and CPU when raising the frequency of the chipset

not possible on the dfi without some windows software pushing further. dfi bios FSB tops @ 550MHz. for nothing but a stock cooler on the chipset anyhoo i dont think 435MHz is too bad. probably could do more but i cant be arsed atm, plus i may be switching to rd580 so the glory would be short-lived anyway *sigh*

People have pushed the hell out of these chipsets man, my friend went over 400+FSB with an Ultra-D too.

It's gonna be hard to break a world record, also kind of useless....
