Depends on what "loud" is to you. Some people are fine with 30-40 dba fans, others complain if they are over 20dba. What fans are you using now? So we know what to base "loud" off of.

Scythe Gentle Typhoons. And some Noctua ones. I hear those getting recommended every so often.

Noctua's fans are solid. Kinda expensive (bought a 92mm one for €20 ) but pretty awesome.

I'm using Noiseblocker BlackSilent Edition fans...2 120mm and one 80mm.
They're pretty great, the 120mm ones can move a ton of air and barely make a sound...the 80mm move a little less, but spins faster and makes some noise, but nothing too much.
    Check them out here.

Noctuas are very good too. Thermaltake make some good ones. Enermax have a few good silent fans with good performance.

I use almost exclusively Noctua fans at the moment, and can attest to their quality and quietness.

That being said, the next fans I want to try are the Scythe Gentle Typhoon, and the Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000.

    This review might be useful.
