Like the recent US release of Archeage with 10+ hour queues. Got better after a few servers were added.

Shit happens to me almost everyday with the blamung server in 14. not nearly as long but character creation restrictions are imposed everyday and you always have a short wait to get in at the end of the day.

It's not just the queues. Servers going down all the time, lagging randomly, instances failing etc... but still what we all expect from blizzard... when was the last time they didn't have connectivity issues during first week? Never?

I remember those days... Bloodhoof queue never got seriously bad, but I do remember some long games of "Hold the raid up just a little bit longer, please!!"

Blizzard has been posting hourly updates on steps they are taking to improve stability and reduce queues. Recent updates include:

US and EU maintenance was completed and added capacity by phasing all of Draenor and upgrading server hardware.

Realm population caps were raised to normal levels in the US and EU once again.

Realm population caps were then increased above the old normal capacity in the US and EU.

Realm population caps are now double what they were yesterday.

Still a 5000 queue on stormrage...

Absolutely, especially after Mists of Pandaria's 570k health mobs. Leveling in MoP was such a drag...

Now I'm just a little confused what to do next since this time around there seems to be little rep gear and points are gone as well...

They got DDoS'd and also forgot to set a server population cap when the update hit. That's why the servers had to go down.

As for the expansion, I keep looking over my shoulder and considering jumping into WoW again. I played it for almost a decade, but I know I don't have time to do end game raiding like I used to. It looks shiny and new and "better", but the last thing I did was get cooking to 600 and get the "Farmer" title. Not sure I'll ever have the patience for such things again. It looks good though

I liked it when achievements and titles were character bound. Salty on all chars or bust!

Hahah yeah, if you didnt pay for Patron you basically either left your computer on all night to try and beat the queue or just quit.
