I have a home office with windows10 pro with 3 monitors on my desk,on my old Windows7 system I could watch tv with a Win-TV HRV-1850 tv card. Can't make this work in Windows10 and not sure why, maybe the card is bad now. It was setting in a box for months while I built new system. Anyway is there any good TV cards out there that will run with windows 10? Its kinda nice to watch the news while working. Just looking for suggestions. I have dish network for tv so I have a coax cable coming to my computer.

Let me guess, you used to use Windows Media Center and now that's gone in Windows 10 so you need an alternative?

I'd just install something like MediaPortal:
https://www.team-mediaportal.com/

It'll take some work (kind of complicated to configure) but I was using that with my Asus TV tuner under Windows 10.

WinTV v8 features: A new user interface designed for Windows 8 and Windows 10; Watch, pause, record and playback TV from Hauppauge TV tuners; Closed captions; New layout with better controls for live TV pause and playback; Integrated TV recording scheduler; Multiple tuner support: Picture-in-picture, record multiple ...

you have a Hauppauge TV tuner you should be able to upgrade the software to V8

Thanks will take a look,my other card had a program with the card. So I did not use media center. Are you happy with the Asus card ? I need one that only needs a signal from coax.

All I get is a fuzy picture picture now, thinking card is bad.

Are you using a 722k ViP box and your catching the analog signal it puts out?

Asus doesn't make them anymore but I have no problem letting mine go. It's PCI Express x1. I switched to HDHomeRuns.

I have a Win-TV HRV-2250 running fine in my Windows 10 setup- had to install the WinTV 8 application to get it to work (which contains Win10 drivers for some of the cards, not all of them).

Try downloading and installing WinTV 8 and try it- note that you will need the WinTV 7 disc and have it in your CD/DVD drive before you run the installation.

I lost long ago my cd, they want you to have it at hand to upgrade to latest versions... So I installed ProgDVB, it is fine. But you first need a working card/stick and drivers from manufacturer (I install only the drivers not the 'suite' from the WinTV download.)

In the U.S. you have to have a Digital converter for them now, unless they have digital models.
