The CPU block from Gigabyte's Galaxy set offers that option. I think you can buy it seperately without the whole set, but I may be wrong.

Edit: See here for TPUs review of the set and the fan that clips onto the block.

Why would you want to use a water block as an air cooler? Water blocks are supposed to be used with water, not fans.

 ya cause i was always thinking of the back-up option, if the water pump fails it can still ventilate the CPU without over heating, or one of the other:laugh: specially cause im using a sealed external case, I was planning to try Hybrid WC to add to my back-up cooling:)

Well... it might work if you let the fan spin with 90000rpm, otherwise please bury that thought deep enough so you will newer come across it again:)

If you go water, then go WATER, not air. BUT: Instead of focusing on pushing air towards the CPU, focus on a well ventilated case that directs airflow over the parts that now are missing fresh air due to the missing CPU fan.

hey bro KH0UJ, can you teach me how to build that refrigirated gaming PC, it's totaly cool man

ya sure:laugh: start a new thread then we`ll go from there;) but im telling you active cooling has a drawback man:( it can cool your entire system depending on what you set (5c-15c) but you may experience higher electricity bill:laugh: (150W-200W) 110 VAC @ 1.5 amps or 0.75 Amps. on 220VAC just for the cooling itself:ohwell:

that`s why im gonna try water cooling+air cooling so that if the weather is cold, i can switch to it, and if the weather is hot, i can turn on the refrigerated:eek:

i don't give a damm about electricity bill, i'm just want to learn something new, and i'm tired about water/air cooling,

bro why don't you make your own custom Water block, and glue a TRUE on top of that
