For me yes, but only if you dont overclock the CPU, then if you want to overclock it you need minimum 3 x 120mm rad, that dual is not enough.

That kit is quiet nice but the reservoir should be bigger, more water you have into the circuit much your system can run cool.

Yikes. I would call that pushing it. If you leave everything at stock, maybe. And don't expect amazing temps. (Expect average temps) Personally, I wouldn't do it. I would put the 5870 on water and get a decent heatsink for the i7. It's harder to air cool a graphics card than it is a CPU.

Not exactly. The amount of water you have determines how quickly/slowly your system will reach an equilibrium. The more water you have the more time it'll take for your system to hit the equilibrium. This is true because adding water doesn't get rid of heat. Radiators get rid of heat. (ie get rid as in get out of the loop) So if you want better performance/lower temps/more cooling ability, you need a bigger/more radiators.

i had my i7 on air with a v8 cooler at 4ghz runs quite hot tho like 55c idle up to 85c full load perfectly stable tho no problems. i have 2 5870 want to water cool the top one dos not get enough air so it runs really hot no problems tho like over 100c when gaming will idle at around 70 thats on a really hot day so if the water runs cooler then thats a win i supose...

If you manage to get a 5870 to run @100c then you are in serious trouble.

You will need another rad if you want to get decent cooling. Just my opinion~

Yes they run like this without problems... BUT FOR NOW !!

Sorry to tell you but in those conditions CPU and GPU at 80 degrees and 100 degrees your components will not survive for long time.

You must do something change thermalpaste add additional fans to the GPU's. Your watercooling Kit is good is just for beginners.

I have just installed the water cooling kit on the cpu OC to 4.2ghz idles 43 full load prime 95 gets to 69 gaming sits in the lo 50s. my ek water block is on it's way for the gpu im going to just use the rad that comes with the kit if it's not doing the job then ill buy another rad or add one but im not sure where i could fit it in my case. how hot should the NB 69 SB 68 be seems hot dos not seem to matter if it's oc or not runs hot always has.
