its the new nanofluid - uses silver particles in the water to increase the amount of heat that the liquid can hold.

What I suggested is not nanofluid and you can make it in your own home. A colloid is a microscopic ammount of a substance. The silver electrically bound to water molecules. If you were to drink it you'd feel the sensation of heat as all the bacteria in your mouth/throat die in a matter of seconds. The idea behind using colloidal silver as a biocide is that the metal can not be processed by most single cells and ends up suffocating the poor bugger. Thus algea and bacteria die off without ever causing harm by reproducing. Just an FYI, if you use most kind of clear plastics it will discolor the tubing to a milky color or off white brown. You can bypass this process and just get silver lined tygon, or make yourself a kill coil. All of these processes allow you to simply use distilled water.
