i am a recent convert myself!
the thing that surprised me was that it really pulled down my graphics card temps.

Dude - i'm gonna be gettin the Thermaltake Bigwater 745 with a dual 120mm fan cooling one radiator and another chassis mounted single 120mm cooling fan on a seperate radiator! Should keep the temps near freezing! haha! Also gonna get a water level monotiroing bay just for the hell of it!! ;)

My Processor runs at around 50 C atm and higher when running multiple apps - this is cos of a sh!t cpu fan and poor pasting! I should be able to knock it down to 25 C ish...

I'll follow u with before and after results when I get my H2O kit installed!

Cheers:toast:

my cpu block is rubbish- it was polished but its made of aluminium, and i could see through the top plexiglass that there was corrosion where the water is.
nevertheless,it still gives me 35deg at load, with the graphics at 30deg (volted) with a triple fan radiator.

Dude, what waterblock do u have on ur GPU? U ever considered something like this?

I'm getting an Arctic Cooling ATi Silencer Rev 5 for my card. Hasn't arrived yet but incredibly good reviews and as quiet as anything (saying that watercooling isnt the loudest now ;))

I'm so vain... had to post a pic. Had it to 3.56 Ghz on air. The overclocking will commence shortly (I don't expect to break the 3.8 mark, but that's my hope)

I have a GPU waterblock, but the card you see is awaiting an RMA and I'm not tearing it apart. :(

Oh - those white couplings in-line are quick-disconnects, very handy.

i HAVE considered a full waterblock, but at the end of the day, its too expensive.:)
i bought an old redundant kit (dsigned for very old cpus and graphics cards) and modded the blocks and mounts to fit my relatively moddern hardware

Thanks but hell... runs cool, I'm hitting a stability wall at 3.6 Ghz (got SuperPi to complete 1M at 3.7 - about 14.2 sec), which is slightly faster than air cooler. Voltage doesn't seem to help at all!!! Top temps are 38c.

I guess I can't complain - that's a 50% overclock.

Nice - I like the passive resevior and the radiator with dual 120 fan capability. You'll need a big box to put all that in...

i've got a akasa eclipse,so i'm gonna put the rad in the top and the pump in the nice little space at the front right side.and the res on the m.board back plate next to the m.board.it'll be viewable from the window too.the tygon tubing is great too, nice and bendy.

Nice case. Sounds like your taking up the top 5.25" bay back to the PSU for the radiator(?) - you planning to make cutouts in the top for air?

The Koolance has the radiator in the same place - perfect location. The top was not removable on it (no way to service or clean!), but I made it so with a drill and a few screws :). That is a modded chieftec case with about a 2.5" gap from the PSU to the top - so the control electronics are in that space above the PSU - and gets airflow from the third 80mm fan. I wish they were 120mm :)

Ok, now i have H2O installed:

AIR:

Idle: 30-35
Load: 60 - 70

H2O

Idle: 24-27 (Fan speed control changes temp over time)
Load: 30-37

Even tho i have this installed i'm still having probs OCing tho... damn! Keeps on crashing on anything over 10% overclock - just have to reset, go back into BIOS and it says "Overclocking failed" GOD DAMN! can't change the voltage anywhere - but it seems to fluctuate whenever i monitor it (with ASUS PC probe)... Any suggestions? Check out sys specs for info...
