The XSPC 7970 block looks like it would fit my PCB judging by the bevel on the block and the image of it mounted on the PCB in the image i linked.

Well, let us know how it works. I'd love to stuff that in SKYMTL's face when you buy a block and it doesn't.

That said, he could be right, for sure. As long as you are prepared for there to be problems, it's no big deal IMHO.

PUll the cooler off of your card, and take pics. Send them to the block amker or store and says "this is my card, will this block fit".

At least, that's my only suggestion at this point. I've seen too many users with fitting issues to not be wary.

I'm looking for my NZXT's 240mm rad mount bracket... which may present a problem in itself!
I'll do that now anyway.

EDIT: I checked and it's almost identical to the 7970 pcb, including the screw locations and mosfets etc, but i sent an email to XSPC anyway with a link to the picture. Hopefully they will get back to me sooner or later.
