Helluva great price for a great drive, of which I have 6 in various machines, all purring along just fine for quite a while now :)

Unforntunately, I paid alot more for the first 2 that I bought a few years ago, but I would not trade them for anything, EXCEPT perhaps some 2 or 4TB models at a comparable discount that is......

It's been at $135 again a few days ago. It's also $135 at WD website, if it's in stock. You should also look at ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB for $140 on Amazon. Every couple of weeks there's an additional $10 instant coupon. on that one.

I bought this for $129.99 free shipping direct from WD website a few weeks ago, 10% off code for being a new subscriber to newsletter or something like that. i don't really feel gen 4 nvme 1tb is worth paying $70 premium for, its literally the same speeds on everything, except like 1500 mb/s faster on read and write... i mean you can't even tell in the real world. so meh i think i made a good deal

a funny thing, the shipping was delayed at first due to covid, then again due to civil unrest... lol first time i ever seen a tracking number display that. crazy
